Nossos 9 anos de história 

We met in the most modern way possible: through that famous app everyone knows. But honestly, it always felt like it wasn't by chance – it was destiny. We discovered we had mutual friends, we were in the same university course, our classrooms were literally next to each other… and, to make it even more incredible, there's even an old photo in the auditorium where we're in the same place, without even imagining that one day we would share our lives.

Our story took a huge turn in 2020. In the midst of the pandemic, we decided to get married hastily and without a party so we could move to England before the borders closed to Italians. It was all intense: each of us with only one checked bag, many fears, few plans, and a huge certainty that we wanted to face the world together.

Since then, we've had more adventures than we could have ever imagined. We've visited 21 countries, revisited some because we fell in love, lived in shared houses – some with completely crazy people – and built our lives brick by brick. We've gone through tough times, job losses, insecurities, homesickness… but also many achievements, laughter, trips, fulfilled dreams, and memories that we will cherish forever.

We learned to be a team. To hold each other's hands on bad days and to celebrate every small victory together. We cried, we despaired, we started over – and, above all, we managed to make our love and companionship withstand all the changes that life brought.

In December 2025, after almost a decade of history, Mateus proposed for the official celebration. This time without rushing, without a pandemic, without hastily packed suitcases. A proposal to celebrate everything we've built in these 9 years and finally have the wedding of our dreams – just the way we always imagined.

Because, in the end, our greatest journey has always been the same: growing together.
